Hi I’m a newbie to T6, and vw campers in general.

We have just returned from a 3 week trip which we loved. I’m wanting to ventilate the fridge but the light remains on even though I have turned the temp setting to off. It is a Vitrifigo C51 on a CamperKing T6.1 23 plate. I’ve turned off the 12v system, even tried the circuit breakers. It’s not on EHU. I’m concerned the light will drain the leisure battery. The fridge seems to be on a separate fuse / supply to light as early in our trip the fridge was not initially cooling due to a popped fuse, but light stayed on !. Any ideas please. Thank you for your help.

You'll have to trace the wiring back to the fuse box.

Is there a power button on the fridge? My Dometic one has a power switch inside.

The pain will be finding that fuse. We remove ours when we return home whilst camper is locked up. I think you have same fridge and fuse may be along side of fridge, fingers crossed. You could ask CamperKing on phone we’re it is ?

Thank you, I’ve sent CamperKing a message. 🤞🏻

Do you mean the internal light that comes on when you open the door?

So is it lit when you put the fridge on vent?
