Help! Undertray nightmare!

Hello all. I drove through a flooded section of road yesterday at 50mph due to not seeing the flood in the dark.

I didn’t realise until the next day when I heard a scraping sound that a huge tray was hanging off underneath.

See photos. Is this a repair I can carry out myself. I had to undo some screws to remove the damaged part.

Also in the meantime is it ok to drive with this huge panel missing?

Fine to drive without it,and yes you can put it back on if you can crawl underneath ...

Except it's in a few pieces of course.

Yes - Buy a new one , crawl under and screw it back on .
Reshape heat shield .

Be very aware next time
