Help! Recommendations engine rebuild

Hello everyone. I new on here, i have just purchased a 2018 kombi and i need the engine and gearbox rebuilt. Thanks to the previous owner towing her at around 60mph down the road for about 30 miles after she went into limp mode.

Any recommendations would be very helpful.

Not sure why that would require an engine rebuild?

I believe it was running white smoke and loosing power before going into limp mode. And also the van has done 170k. So thought as the gearbox is getting done. I may aswell get the engine done and then i have a brand new engine and gearbox.

No not sorted yet. Still not sure on where to talk it as the quotes are massively different from places
