I have to admit defeat and tell you I'm close to getting desperate here. The reason why? I've upgraded the PDC on my T6 to 1K8 919 472 C in order to benefit from automatic activation when approaching obstacles from the front.
The problem is, that ever since then, I've lost the ability to open my factory fitted electric tailgate from the key fob as well as the button in the drivers door.
I've tried various adaptation setting of 6D, diverse codings of my PDC module, nothing works. I've also reverted back to the original module without any changes except unplugging the new module and plugging the old one in, the tailgate worked as expected (open and close).
The reason I'm getting desperate is that it seems others have had no such troubles and it works perfectly for them.
For reference, a discussion that's been had on this very forum a while ago: Side assist retrofit thread and attached a fairly recent autoscan (nothing changed since then).
Unfortunately, the suggestions did not yield any results and I'm about to restart trying all codings (adaptations are as suggested in the thread, confirmed that again yesterday).
Before I do that, I was wondering if there was a kind sould on here willing to help me investigate this, knowing my knowledge on all things VCDS and car electronics is very basic. Caveat is, I'm based in western Switzerland, so not exactly a stone's throw from the majority of power-users on here. I can provide remote access and am willing to reward adequately for this.
So I guess this is a bottle to the sea, hoping someone will be willing and able to help me get to the root cause of my problem.
