Help needed. Looking for a fuel pressure regulator for my T6

Have you got the four digit engine code?

It will be on the sticker underneath the dash.
No the vans still at the garage.
Hopefully they will have time to fit the new Delphi fuel pressure regulator on Monday.
Great service from Darkside developments BTW. Super fast delivery from them. And the only place to source an fpr other than VW at £380!!
Then they will hook it back up to their equipment and see what it’s saying.
I’ve got this week to get it sorted as I’m away the whole of next month in the camper.

I’m finally getting a bit further forward with this.
The new Delphi fuel pressure regulator was fitted yesterday and as much as it improved things it wasn’t the problem.
I knew it was just a step towards hopefully diagnosing the problem.
They tested the injectors and although the previous garage tested them and they seemed fine.
They are not. 2 need replaced.
Got prices for Delphi ones at just shy of £500 each. o_O
About laid an egg
Managed to get 2 brand new Delphi injectors for £398 delivered from PF Jones.
They will be here tomorrow.
I’m much more confident that replacing the injectors will cure the black smoke and ticking.
This has been stressing me out as I’m off this weekend in the camper for 4 weeks.
I’m hoping to get my van back then serviced by the end of this week.
I was hoping to fit my big brake kit before then but think I will just ask my pal to fit them if he’s got time when servicing it.
I’m praying this all pans out.
Nothing I seem to do is straightforward

Fingers crossed for you. I think I suspected 2 were iffy from the readings I was getting.

No one seems to touch pf Jones for injector prices. When you get them, you'll see they are 100% genuine as the the VW part number will be buffed off the solenoid top. Make sure they use new bolts for the injector clamp

Thanks Kevin
I’m confident replacing the injectors is going to sort this out.
Think I’m going to have a bash at fitting my T32 calipers and big discs myself if I have time before I go away on Sunday.
It’s been a while since I’ve done brakes so might text you for advice if I have problems bleeding them.

Update on this.
I got my camper back tonight after having 2 injectors replaced.
And it’s running great.
No ticking
No black smoke at any revs.
It’s even quicker now as well.
It’s 160bhp now apparently and feels every bit of it.
I’m super happy.
I’m not going to get my big brakes fitted before I leave on Sunday but will fit them when I have time after the next 4 weeks away in it.

Any details to share?
Absolutely none at all I'm afraid. All I did was plug in the launch machine from my work and I looked at the deviation values on the injectors. 2 of them were wildly out. From seeing this in the past on cars, this has always led to a new injector to cure the issue.

So, unfortunately no scientific measurements were made or recorded

We knew fuel pressure was the issue causing the black smoke.
So after replacing the big fuel filter , the fuel pressure sensor and the fuel pressure regulator it only left the injectors.
They did an injector leak test.
Cups 1 and 2 were empty.
Cup 3 had about an inch of fuel in it but cup 4 was full to the brim.
So injectors 3 and 4 were replaced.
PF Jones were by miles cheaper than anywhere else.
At £190 each.
My van drives amazing now it’s fast and handles like a car. Pity I never got my big brakes fitted in time but I’m still super happy I got this far.
