Help me please- Exhaust Temp sensors / DPF or EGR?!?

So I inadvertently ran my 2017 T6 (CFX engine) t32 shuttle (stop start / add blue etc) - 191k miles down to 5 miles of fuel showing. Parked it up for the night and came back invite morning to head off for fuel ….

Engine started fine, but the engine MIL lamps was illuminated and the Glow plug lamp was flashing, drives ok, lacking power, but not in limp home.

I’ve done a scan with a neighbours snap on machine and got the attached codes, tried a forced re-gen too and nothing (failed twice).

I’ve belled out and done a resistance checking the 3 sensors on the bulkhead and all show a dropping resistance as they get hot (so I believe that are working ok) .

I can’t find the sensor connection for the 4th sensors though…. Possibly an orange plug??

So given the symptoms and Scans does anyone have any suggestions please?

Off to France with a bus full next month!

Did you fill up?
How long you had been driving with fuel low warning on?

done a resistance checking the 3 sensors on the bulkhead
When did you scan for the faults - before or after unplugging the connectors - as a EGR temperature sensor 3 (presumably the "sensor C" in your tool) is in one of the plugs.
I can’t find the sensor connection for the 4th sensors though
Under the van.
However, none of the exhaust temperature sensors is not your issue - why do think so? Because of the circled filtered model error? The "0" is perfectly fine for a stopped engine.

The fault P2463 suggests DPF has not been regenerated for a while. Would be helpful to know the following:
  • DPF soot calculated
  • DFP soot measured
  • Distance since last DPF regeneration.
  • Time since last DPF regeneration.

PS. Just a thought:
191k miles
That's a lot of miles for a DPF.

Thanks for the reply.

The reading for the sensors was done with the engine off - so maybe that explains the 0 value?

I literally had 5 miles showing on the fuel trading and parked up - no warning lights other than low fuel. Came out in the morning and it had the flow out light on.

The DPF light has illuminated before and it’s done a regen - and like I say it’s recently been end to end of the uk.

If the DDF needed a re-gen wouldn’t it show a FPF light?

Also tried to force the regen with the snap on tool and it failed twice too.

Thought it was a sensor issues as presumably it has conditions that need to be met to start the re-gen.
