HELP! How to get audio harness adaptor to fit back in

Don't suppose anyone can share their pearls of wisdom on how to get the standard head unit back in after installing a harness to run other hardware? I just cant get it back in the last 10 mm, no matter what I try. Arghhhhh!!

Thanks @mmi I went for the brute force approach and let the screws do the work approach, everything still works so hopefully it’s job done!!
