Hi everyone,
I'm Boogie and currently driving a VW T6 California Beach (2017, 2.0 TDI, 75 kW, CXGB). I'm based near Frankfurt and recently upgraded from a VW T4 Multivan (still drinving as a daily).

I'm particularly interested in retrofits, coding, and technical upgrades for the T6 – including park assist, rear-view camera, ambient lighting, and infotainment tweaks. I'm also planning to retrofit Side Assist and possibly ACC in the future.

I enjoy working on the van myself, always learning something new, and I’m looking forward to exchanging ideas and experiences with the community – especially when it comes to hands-on tips and detailed retrofit projects!

As requested by @Badjamin , I'm happy to share a few pictures of my T4.


It's the well-known 151 hp AHY engine – a real powerhouse with a fantastic sound. Built in 2000, it's a Multivan with a solid factory spec, including a sport suspension and a great drivetrain. With nearly 400,000 km on the clock, it still runs strong.


I originally used it for camping, but with a child now on board, the space became a bit too tight. That's why we upgraded to a T6 with a pop-up roof – definitely a great addition. If only I could have the T4 engine in the T6... that would be my dream setup!
