After almost 40 years of caravanning it all become too much for us in our 74th year. We then decided to purchase a campervan for shorter trips away and got a high top Leisuredrive Vivante in early July. All good so far - any other oldies doing this??

It works!

You qualify for Team Two-tone as well !!

Thanks CAB for advice. Updated profile pic and hope to get better pics of our van for Team Leisuredrive on a trip to The Dales next week.

Looking good @Petert!

Is it an older Leisuredrive, or a new conversion on a 16 van? How have you found it so far, has it been as you expected, good / bad points? Put them in here as it always helps those researching:

If you are leaving the awning wound out overnight I would recommend getting a tie-down kit if you don't already have one, repairing the roof would be much more expensive o_O

Brand new conversion on 4 year old T6. Was a bit wary as van had done 76000 miles. Got Leisuredrive to change timing belt and water pump and put on almost new tyres. It has a full service record so hope ok - certainly goes ok. Those who know about these things say mileage is nothing to worry about so hope that’s right! Very pleased so far although struggle with storage after 40 years with car and caravan. We use a separate toilet tent on site for chairs, table, towels, etc. We have our old tie down kit which we would use in windy conditions but would probably not leave the Fiamma out overnight.

Hi, can I ask what colour you painted the bottom of your van. It looks great.
