I have taken the plunge and decided to join forum instead of just sneaking a look for advice when considering what step to take next with the van.
I own a T6 LWB Kombi DSG, 4Motion BiTurbo 204 that is a lovely machine.
it is now booked to have conversion to camper at VanWorx in Portland in September so I have a long wait ahead. Plus a long (360+ mile) drive down there to drop it off. Looking forward to getting lots more advice from here.

Hi, I had a full camper conversion done 2 years ago. I live in Australia in South Australia and the conversion was done in Victoria 800kms away.I dropped the van off and flew home. When it was ready my wife and I flew back to pick up the van and then drove home along the Great Ocean road taking a few days and getting to know how everything worked. It was good fun. So why don't you make a bit of a holiday when you pick it up as you will be quite excited and will learn heaps by using it on the way home.
