Heating Button on screen

Hey all,

2 weeks of ownership now and I’m really getting to know the van well. (Especially the underside unfortunately ).

Today as I wasn’t using Carplay I noticed a heating button on the screen that doesn’t seem to do anything.



It flicks on for a second or two and then turns off.

If I press the physical windscreen heater button it lights up.

Does anyone know what the normal behaviour is ?

Mine's the same, no idea why it does that.

Yeah thats what it does, i think its a left over from MQB cars (similar build platform) where lots of functions are controlled by the infotainment, perhaps someone at VW forgot to delete that or make it unselectable
