Heated rear window wire cover?

I just wiped the condensation off my rear window and snapped the wire away from the hheated window for the third time agggg! Should there be a cover over it?

Thanks for looking. I will have to make something up. Does anyone else have the same issue or recommend what I can use to cover the cable?
