Headunit installation help

Hi, so I've ordered a Kenwood DMX8021DABS headunit along with a ln ACV transporter specific fitting kit from Halfords. Is there anything else I need for it to function properly and keep reverse sensors, steering wheel controls etc before I pull it apart! Thanks in advance!

As long as you have the specific wiring harness then it’s plug and play.
I would advise placing the GPS Ariel on the passenger side dash as close to the bottom of the screen as possible.

I would contact @Absolut5 there’s not much they don’t know about ICE installs. I believe they can supply you with whatever you need mate

Thank you! This looks to be all that's included with the kit. Can I keep the original hands free mic or do I need to install one of those as well?

That interface will not retain the parking sensor display, only steering wheel controls.

You have to use the supplied mic

Return the Halfords kit and pick up the phone and give Jason at Absolut5 a call.......He will supply you all you need and give good advice.

I will be taking it to the store once it arrives and I've already called Absolut5. Really helpful, sending me everything I need and even sorted out a reverse camera in the process!
