Headunit ghost touch !!!!

Good morning Gentle Folk!!

My head unit has decided to adopt the ghost touch and the digitiser has almost given up on me! Unfortunately I appear to have an expensive model of the head unit!

5K7035200 is my part number (amarok model I believe)

Two part question, does anybody know someone reliable that has done this repair before? (I can't seem to find anyone)

Or

Can anybody recommend a replacement unit with car play etc and the ability to relink to the steering wheel etc?

Many have successfuly replaced the screens. I fixed mine and it was a straight forward process.

Have a search as there is alot of info to be found.

OEM Headunit Problems [Merge]

Today the discover media system rebooted 3 or 4 times within about 20 mins of driving. At the time the nav was displaying and sd card music playing. Thought it might have been a corrupt music file but I couldn't repeat the problem so ruled that out and It hasn't done it again?? Anyone...
