Headlight Washers!

I’m not sure if it’s something I’ve not really noticed before but are the headlight washers only activated at certain speeds as mine won’t work when static? I’m sure when I pulled the wiper leaver both the windshield washers and headlight washer both worked when I was static.

Try with lights on full, and about every 5th pull of the screen-wash leaver should activate the headlight jets. (it does work static)



Edit - every 10 pulls of the washer jets you will get a lights wash.

one first wash when lights are on and washers are pulled, then every 10 pulls thereafter.

I actually turn off my headlights if I know the jets are going to come off, because they make a right mess down the side of the van.
On the flip side of that, they are great to annoy the person riding your rear bumper on the motorway.

Haha. Absolutely what I used to do! They soon back off!

Washers functionality can be easily adjusted with VCDS.
