Head unit wiring issue

Hi All,

I'm looking for some help with head unit wiring.

I recently fitted a Sony XAV-AX8050D unsing a CTSVW015.2 steering wheel adpater to integrate it to the vehicle. However, when the engine start-stop kicks in the head unit power cycles. The screen also dims with daytime running lights. Didn't have this problem with the Kenwood previsouly fitted. I tried swapping the continuous power (yellow) and switched power (red) between the head unit harness and steering wheel adapter in case they were marked differently but that's not it. Head unit power connector shown below, I'm sure this is simple (and may invovle the orange/white wire) but any guidance appreciated!

So was simply down to volatage drop on cranking the engine, I've wired it up to the leisure battery instead now and problem solved. Shame Sony haven't overcome that problem with their head unit like Kenwood. Took the opportunity to wire-up an Eton Micro 120.2 whilst the bits were off too and fitted it behind the upper glovebox (thanks whoever gave that tip).
