Has my van been lifted?

Hello,

I have bought a van with 'all terrain' wheels/tyres. They are good to ride on but I have a question about the suspension/springs that the original owner is unable to answer (they just got things upgraded and took no interest in costs or technicalities).

Looking at the pic, has my van been raised in some way? The tyres are BF Goodrich LT225/65R17 107/103S.

And if I wanted to fit a more conventional tyre at some point, would I need to lower the van? (it's a T6 T28)

Measure the ride height to see if it's been altered. From the centre of the hub to the top of the wheelarch is 460mm as standard.

I’d have a crawl underneath and look at the springs. OEM springs are black and have dabs of coloured paint to signify what they are. Aftermarket usually have the make and model number laser printed onto the spring.

Armed with this information you’ll be able to google the springs to find out what you have or report back here for comment.
