Hard Brexit - Impact On Otr Price

Given the potentially long lead times for some van builds, is it possible that someone placing an order now could have a delivery date beyond next March. And if we crash out of the EU with no deal and revert to WTO Tariffs, could there be a sudden extra charge to pay when you pick up your van?

If you agree a deal and place a deposit then are VW not bound by it ??
Average build times are not as long as they used to be so can’t see how/why an order would deliver that far away

I ordered last week for delivery in October. So not really relevant yet.

Interesting question, I assume VW would suck up the charge initially but I'd expect manufacturers to start passing on the charges before long.

really depends on what's in the "small print" on the back of the order form.

My guess is that VW will have already considered this and amended their T's & C's to make sure they don't lose out.
