Had EML this morning and code p0101 Intercooler FUBAR

Had a quick butchers and I'd say this is pretty conclusive.



So looks like new intercooler time.

Couple of questions.

Does the front grill just clip out once the top trip clips are removed or is it a full bumper off job?

Is it a simple job to change to cooler out. By that I mean a couple of bolts and undo the hoses, are there any nasty surprises like having to remove things to actually get it out?

Strangely no real noticeable symptoms apart from a slight whooshing when accelerating, which I had initially put down to the fact, I’ve recently had a diesel heater installed and the intake is in the step by my feet and has made the van slightly noisier due to the road noise coming through the pipe and hole.
No performance drop at all. If it hadn’t have been for the eml light, I probably wouldn’t have even investigated further until it properly went bang and lost power.
