Goodwood Festival Of Speed

2nd favourite. Why it spits fire out of it , it's mentally loud, unfortunately you,LL have to have a 20 inch waist . I have no chance.

3rd choice .why. it's the only one in the world it looks mental , and costs if it was ever for sale £12 - 15 million pounds .never mind the running costs. IMG_20210709_172621_5.jpg

Back in the real world . Drive back up to sunny Glasgow. . Then back to work Thursday. Hope you guys liked the pictures. . Just a wee note. If you're going camping or glamping , to Goodwood . Next year. Go well prepared as there's no convenience store on site if you're needing anything . There's 1 farm shop. Chichester is nearest for a big shop . Sainsbury's . Or there's a co-op attached to a Texaco petrol station . There's a pharmacy on site. For hayfever tablets or anything like that. Would I do it again . Yes maybe not from the Wednesday to Sunday though. This is probably the only place to see a mix bag of your favourite dream car's and bikes that have ever been thought of. . Oh and a large selection of VW transporter s of all ages in the camping areas amazing. Is the only word I can think of.

I was there on Sunday, some truly lovely cars around. I got there around 7am (I live quite close) and it was already getting busy. I parked up in the T6 and had brekky with the kids in the van before heading in. Noticed quite a few T5s and T6s around in the car park, very noticeable considering they sit above most of the cars I suppose. Some nice cars in the car park too

Just went onto the website to book a camping pitch, £183, f#*k that, I'll be wild camping in a lay-by somewhere close by.

We went to the revival this year and stayed at a gorgeous Cottage in Arundle which wasn’t too far away, before we left we took a walk around the castle and there were a load of vans wild camping in the road by the castle, it would be a good place to stop.

It’s the road that runs up to the nature reserve and black rabbit pub. People camp there every night of the year.

Oli, I nearly replied saying it’s your stomping ground and would know some good hideouts to stop!!

Ps. Will call you about booking in for the Revo’s and lowering this week.

That’s the one. Before the bridge on the RHS. If not loads of parking beyond the bridge.

Arundel is a good place to go, plenty of Goodwood clientele around in nice cars. If you want a meal in one of the restaurants book early as it will be busy.

Goodwood is simply the best for any petrolhead a vast selection of allsorts and if you do not see it at goodwood well it probably aint worth seeing. I travelled from paisley near Glasgow to Hayward’s Heath for a couple of days my family then went over to goodwood. You will not be disappointed.

Yeah, been twice before, it's a great day out.
I'm by no means tight, but there's no way I'm paying £184 for 2 nights camping, and that's with no electric hook-up either as all those pitches have sold out.
