Good stuff at the NEC

Spent a great day at the Motorhome show at the NEC, interesting talking to the trade stands. Two companies Hobby Group (German, and Trigano Group (French), between them sell 60% of all motorhomes in the whole of Western Europe. Trigano own the UK brand Autotrail (1 in 3 motorhomes sold in the Uk are Autotrail), and although Autotrails are made in UK, lots of bits come from Euro land, and guess what come Jan 2017 they are probably all going up significantly in price. Not that any are bothered, as many of the lines are already sold out for 2017!!!!!!!!. We,ve got a 2012 Autotrail, we would need to order this month to get one for April, and leave it much longer and there will be no factory order slots for 2017. Unbelievable.

Don't know much about T6 campers, but there was a hall half full of them, below are the best looking imo, but I really don't know much about them.
Westfailia Club-Joker is pure class
Weekender (Pioneers ICE Stand) looked really nice, and the Autec 20" wheels, with black wheel arch protectors, carbon wrap on wing mirrors, black side bars, black B pillar just looked right imo.

We only had 3 hours there yesterday but could of easily spent a lot longer there. It was nice to see the Club Joker in the flesh as that was one of the conversion we considered, agreed that the quality of finish is superb - layout just didn't work for us though.

Campers/Motorhomes are always a compromise, and I always feel none of the layouts are quite what I want. Guess that is the advantage of a custom build, easy on a T6 camper; not easy on a motor-home.

Same with caravans! Keep looking at them but can't find what we want, I'm think of getting a Ifor Williams Box trailer and converting that at the moment.

I know what you mean, we have had top of the range now back to the basic Bailey persuit which suits out needs.

We went earlier this week. Some good conversions on show. We bought our current Bailey pegasus palermo last year so wasn't really looking to buy anything as such. Wife did seem to spend more time looking around the motor homes though....
