Hi all - and apologies if this is not the right section to post this.
I have a newly converted T6 and the gas locker is currently positioned directly under the hob, which makes sense in some respects with the least amount of copper piping.
However I am looking to better utilise the space in the rear, behind the driver side rear wheel arch, which currently has a boxed off cupboard housing the leisure battery.
I have seen on some professional coversions such as camperking and autohaus the gas bottle in this position and I wanted to check with the group for any views or any red flags if I was to drill a new vent hole for the gas locker at the rear and run new copper pipes?
This would then provide much needed and more usable storage underneath in the kitchen unit.
Please let me know your thoughts!
Thanks
