Fuse question

I have done a search, but can't find an answer that makes sense to this question.

I have a T30 transporter , panel van conversion. This has a standard 12v outlet (cigarette lighter style) on top of the dash. I thought earlier this weekend that I had blown the fuse, but it turns out that I haven't. I searched the resources on the forum, including the VIP section which has some useful info, but the info I get on the relevant fuse is not conclusive.

So where is the fuse that protects this outlet ? (for future reference).

It's supposed to be SC40 in the main fuse panel, but I don't have a fuse there !

Thanks,

Pete

Since producing the fuse chart we have found a couple variations for this I think @Loz has the other fuse possibility for this, you could also ha e a single fuse under your passenger seat that supplies one of the cig sockets so worth checking under there

There is also the option of a single fuse under the drivers seat. It all depends on whether you have factory second battery of not.

hi Pete did you find the fuse? i have checked all mine and even under the seat but still cant find the fuse...

No. Not really had time to look. It definitely isn't under the drivers seat.
I may well ask the VW garage to confirm if i take it to them for a service.

I've spent 2 seperate days on it, in between putting in rear speakers and puddle lights.
All of my fuses are ok, I've even tried puting fuses in the blanks.. still no joy..
Let me know if the Garage diagnose it..
thanks
Nick
