Front seats other than T5 T6

Got a T6 and want to change the double passenger for a single Captains seat. Not too keen on the current prices (nearly £1000 for a seat) but wondering if there is an alternate solution like a pair of Caddy seats. I don't think anything is a straight swap but has anybody tried to swap in non-standards seats? What worked, and anybody found somebody local to Leeds who can do it?

Like many, am wishing to replace the double front passenger to a single. What other seats are a direct swap? Has anyone done this and which seats did they use?
