Hi, I have just got a T6.1 camper conversion and wondered if anyone can help?

I’m wondering what is the reason for the blank squares on the front grill? I have circled them on the picture below?

Its just something that makes me wonder what the need of it is?

Thanks in advance.

Radar
Either front safety breaking thing etc or adaptive cruise control etc if it’s the same as T6

The only thing we have on our van is it warns you if you are getting too close the vehicle in front but doesn’t brake for you also we only have standard cruse control.

Would it be possible to put a sticker on it?

Thanks again for your advice and info.

Personally I wouldn't be sticking anything to a bit of sensitive electronic technology like that. My rear sensors have a mind of their own sometimes depending on what angle my towball cap is leaning !

I believe the ones on 6.1 can be sprayed up with paint. If you stick a sticker on it the worse that could happen is that you would lose the warning function and/or get error messages

Check your manual. It may tell you to keep this area clean and free of obstructions.

When I paint my front grill gloss black on my T6.1 , is it ok to paint the square radar bit in the centre of the grill?
