Front fog lights

Can someone take a photo of their front fog lights please. I've just noticed the other day after taking the bumper off to switch the grill over that there is a gap between the bumper and the front fog lights, they don’t sit flush. Is this normal? Just want to know before I take it all off again.

Looks normal to me.
You wouldn’t want them touching as they’d be rubbing.

Does anyone use their front fog lights aswell as the normal headlights while driving? I did this morning and it made a huge difference. Wondered if other folk did the same?

No, you shouldn't. They're only for use in foggy conditions.

"You MUST NOT use front or rear fog lights unless visibility is seriously reduced (see Rule 226) as they dazzle other road users and can obscure your brake lights. You MUST switch them off when visibility improves.
Law RVLR regs 25 & 27"

I only ever wrote one FPN for it that I can recall.

It shouldn't make a huge difference. They're designed for night time use in fog for illuminating the 5-10 metres of road surface and road boundary ahead of the vehicle, literally just enough so you dont drive off the road in a pea souper.

Pet hate of mine, most of them do it because they think it makes them look "cool"
If they're coming towards me they get my main beam, and if they're behind me I put on my rears.

It was my 'go to' offence to deal with the boy racers tearing around town annoying everyone...
A few FPN's dished out and they disappeared very quickly
Many moons ago I bought a brand new Fiesta XR 2 I with insurance money from having my mk1 Golf GTI being written off. Picked it up from the dealers and about 1/2 a mile from the down the road got pulled over for having front fogs on. Between the two coppers and myself we figured how to turn them off as I didn’t even know they were on. I didn’t get a ticket but it taught me a lesson. Seems now a days people turn them on when it foggy at the start of winter and then just leave them on for a week or two just in case. lol.
