Fog light issue

Hello,

I’ve recent bought an 2018 T6 and noticed the front fogs aren’t working. The light comes on the dash but the lights don’t illuminate. The rears are fine. I’ve plug in a diagnostics tool this also shows no faults. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you changed the bulbs and, if that didn't work, check for voltage at the lamp connectors?

I didn't know there was a light on the dash for front fogs. I thought it was on the switch and the dash light was for the rears.

I'm wondering if the previous owner just fitted the lights and left it as that. Does the headlight switch have two positions where you pull out for front only, or front plus rear fog lights?

Certainly on the 6.1 there's a tell-tale for the front fogs.

So it’s got a digital dash and a new switch. 2 stage switch pull once for front and pull twice for rears. When I pull the first time a light on the dash come on no lights illuminate then pull it again and the rears come on. Had the OBD reader in no faults fuses look good. I was wondering if it was a wiring problem maybe as I thought being a bulb issue would throw something up on the dash.

They're probably fine, but for the sake of 10 minutes its not worth risking an assumption.

Yes. Front one is green, rear is read, and the symbols are more or less the same but face in opposite directions, ie, are a reverse image of one another.
