Front caliper rattle

I bought my van a couple of weeks ago and noticed an annoying rattle coming from the front of the van. After crawling underneath and seeing half of the under trays are missing I thought it was maybe a loose fixing.
Finally today found the problem. I took the front wheel off and noticed there was no caliper spring holding the pads in place.

My question is would you pay the £36 for an oem spring from VW or buy two for £9.00 from eBay…

How worn are the pads? I've always used Brembo pads on my T6 and these always come with new springs. In fact, I'm sure I bought my last set for under £36. That's two clips and a set of pads...

Just reviving this thread as I seem to have the same rattle and same issue. However I’m unsure which pad springs I’m after having never taken a set of these apart before and mine being absent. Is anyone able to help with part numbers. It’s a 2017 t32

There seem to be two different sets, a set that look like a moustache, and another set that look more like little square clips. I know that’s not much help, but anyone with a t32 got any advice?
