Switching OFF the Brake Pad Warning ?

Does anybody know (a) if it can be done & (b) how to do it with VCDS ?

I'm guessing there is also an option of plugging in a link possibly to bypass either the front or rear warning circuit ?

The reason I'm asking is I put together a kit for my 2005 T5, but never got round to fitting it. I've now changed my van for a new T6.1 & my "kit" is still sat on my bench in the garage & I'd like to make the effort to get it fitted.
It's not for any serious reason like I need more than the standard brakes can offer, it's just because I can !! ;)
I have gone to the trouble of buying large discs & red Baer 6-pot calipers, getting adaptor mounts made for the calipers & top-hats made for the discs to mount them to the VW hubs. The pads for the calipers do not have the wear indicators so ideally I'd like to switch OFF that function in the T6.1.

Cheers guys 👍

just bypass the circuit.

get an old pad, cut the sensor wire and join the two cores together, then plug into the van loom.

the van will just see a healthy pad all the time.

Thank you Dellmassive, so just to clarify, the circuit is Normally Closed with a good pad & when the disc wears the pad down to the limit it breaks the circuit, which then goes Open Circuit ?

yes - what he said.

the pad just wears down will the sensor pin-link is worn away.

normaly around 15% pad remaining,
