Foxes have done me dirty - AGAIN

The foxes keep eating my wiring too and I have alerts all over the dash for tyre pressure, ABS etc.
Has anybody tried fitting skid plates like these?
not the cheapest solution, but then going to the garage every 6 months ain't cheap either
Do they cover the exposed wiring?

Not sure on the skid plates mate.

However - I fitted some mesh (@Dellmassive ’s link earlier in this thread), and then a load of heavy duty cable ties along sensors / so the DPF sensor / exhaust sensors in the middle, and then a load along the wrapped cables along and around the ARB.

Then I mixed up a load of chilli powder and grease, and slathered that along the cabling and ties.

Afterward I then meshed around the exhaust sensors with metal cable ties, and put meshing to partially block off the void by the ARB etc.

Essentially I tried to make it awkward and uninviting for nibbles, rather than impenetrable. Seems to have worked as no issues since. I mean could just be coincidence but no issues since.

Have also lowered the van since - could that have helped? Who knows.

I have one of these fitted for the last 5 years, not sure if it covers the bits you are needing covered but I've not had anything gnawing at my wiring so far.
I have stuck some thin foil backed insulation to it to keep the engine noise down as well. (to the engine side of the cover)

I’m very just designed this to prevent against fox attacks.
