Christmas 2024 I bought the above and it was delivered in January 2025. Due to various things it’s never been out the box much to my shame. I now have a suitable charger, is there any precautions I should take bearing in mind how long I’ve had it without charging it up!

Answered my only question. The power button on the battery came on and before anything else I checked the app and there was still 50% charge in the battery. On charge now and behaving as it should. I think what helped was that I’d never opened it so the battery was as it left the factory
Did you get terminal posts and covers with your battery? I did a similar thing bought it and it sat in the garage. When it came to swapping it over it didn't have any posts with it.
