Flat starter battery - help needed

Just stated today nothing on dash then it came back but now gone again. But Helga is running battrie has been checked and fuses look OK. My garage is full and can't look at it.

Hi bought new battery for my t6 got up this morning and she's flat some of lights on dash are coming on. Anyone any idears.

I take it that it’s your starter battery that’s flat and van won’t start?
I believe that new starter batteries need to be coded in.
Have you done this?
Also changing your thread name to “flat battery please help” would increase your responses from the many helpful members on here.

I've read that too, but I replaced my starter battery last year and didn't code it in, it's been perfectly fine.
 
There can be issues with some new batteries but the vans generally learn the new battery so the new battery shouldn't be a problem as such.

Have you checked fuses and are all interior lights switched off?
 
Does the new battery accept a charge? When Charged does the engine then start and run?


If the battery is changed like for like then there should be no necessity to recode and as has been stated after a period of time evidence has suggested that the the vehicle will eventually recognise the new batteries requirements should they be different.
