Fixed Towbar Install - Which?

Morning all!

I have done a search and read a few different threads but most people go for a detachable towbar, which I would love however I need a fixed towbar plate on the back. (Its not actually for towing you see) Therefore trying to find out which towbar is best/trying to locate images to double check its what I need.

I am actually going for a new build transport T6 as couldn't find what I wanted 2nd hand, therefore options are open for an install on delivery. However unfortunately can't find any pictures of the difference in the options and dealer only had detachable ones on forecourt (Again as this is what most people prefer which is completed understandable)

Any help and assistance would be greatly received. Thank you in advance.

I would have a word with the maker of the detachable ones as I have seen photos of a slot in standard fitment ball if you only need the two bolt hole fixings.

Hey! Its more like this I'm after. 4 bolt holes if possible, but i do like the option above as I could remove the towbar then fabrication something to work potentially.

I have an aftermarket fixed tow bar - its a "Tow Trust" but can't tell you any more about it as it was fitted as part of the conversion of my van. Looks like it may be what you are after though?

@Ed Webb has a substantial one in the back of his, think it was four bolt but not 100%
Think he may have had some issues with his getting picked up by reverse sensors though ?

I still have problems with my reverse sensors - dealers told me it was the aftermarket tow bar not being coded but I’m not so sure as the problem is intermittent, e.g. worked ok when away last week but then decided to play up when reversing back onto my drive.

Same issues I had. Intermittently picking up tow ball. I had fitted a ball and pin type bar (sticks out rather far) but the two middle sensors worked wide enough to intermittently pick it up. I now have the westfalia ball fitted and all issues have been resolved. It's only a 2 bolt fitment but any kind of guard plate is also picked up by the sensors.

Do you have any issues with the parking sensors with this towbar?
I still have an intermittent problem with the sensors (see above). Sometimes they work as expected and sometimes they beep to tell me something is behind me when there is nothing - they effectively fail safe though and I just put up with the beeps when this happens.
