Horn works. Although when I took the airbag off, it kind of fell and the little clip in the center of the airbag had come out. I put it back in but not sure if that was the cause of the light

A quick code read will tell you. Might just not be plugged in properly

I did call my local place for code clearing and they want an hour labour and can't get me in for over a week

You need to get yourself something to code read it. Plenty info on here. I just use a £10 obd dongle and the 'car scanner app' on my phone. It does the job for quick checks on things and just lives plugged in all the time. For everyday simple checks, it's perfect

I did have a carista plug in but it said my T5 was not compatible. I also bought a reader from euros and that was the same. Mine is a 2004

Just a dodgy connection on the back of the airbag. It was hanging off, popped it back on, cleared code and light went out.
