Fitting a Fiamma f45S, that can be removed...

Who has a Fiamma f45S installed that they remove?
Ideally looking for a solution to have it installed when required, I have YouTube' the installation on the T6/T6.1 and have noticed most glue, although some have just used a rubber mat under to prevent paint damage.

How tried and tested is a non glued bracket, last thing I want is for it to fly off

I've got the F40 Van. Essentially the same but attaches to the VW roof rack mount points and is completely removable whenever you want. You can get bracket to fit ti to either side too. 10 min job for one person.

Thank you I've gone for the F40. I read a lot of comments about it rubbing the roof, did you use a rubber seal to prevent this?
