Depends on what you use your van for. Mine is solely used as a camper so it makes sense for me to have it all fitted and ready, but if the van has to be multipurpose, slidepods make a lot of sense.
I've put a side kitchen and RnR in mine but left the roof standard. It's a compromise that's working for us at the moment but there is only 2 of us and we can live with 2 rear seats.
Yeah I have two kids so the roof will be getting done but two rear seats should be fine just wasn't sure if full width r&r with slide pod would be as good as a fitted kitchen.
Wife is saying go down the fitted kitchen route haha
Fully fitted on the side for us also because it's intended to be used solely as a camper van. There is also only 3 of us so space is not so much of an issue.
