Finally - Velle has arrived!

Little hello (already uploaded a thread on my little beauty of an UpGTI whilst waiting for the Van to arrive.
Having 4 kids and 10 bikes between us, the Disco was no longer doing it for us so ordered a Velle SE back in sept 2020.
finally arrived yesterday and had a few things waiting in the garage, so here is a few picks 24 hours into ownership with new wheels, neW tints and bumper protector and a layer of wax

love the colour. It’s like a shade shifter depending on lighting and angle

interesting question @Tommy , a man’s work is never done

on the maybe list are: gloss black grills; coilovers (on their highest setting); and, THQ led lights when they come out.
Have h7 LED bulbs ready to go on
Blok pod rail arrives today for the bikes to be mounted and caravelle rail attachments

Nice mods Bigredonion, just googled the Blok pod rail, looks like something that I could utilise. Am I right in thinking that you buy the rail and brackets which will then fit into the caravelle rail system?

Drove a panel van last night and think it must have had standard lights, because as soon as we came off the motorway and onto country lanes, it was abysmal to say the least. Assuming the H7 lights are a decent upgrade from standard

@Tommy yup didn’t want to pay £1100 to upgrade at time of order but now kinda regret it. Not sure how they are legal right now!
Yes indeed.

I got the transporter kit from Blok pod, but the Velle has different anchors in the rear, so just got some rail bolts instead. Then yes it’s £35 for each front attachment and can buy little plugs that change the mounting type to the front fork. Seems very well made

Yes they do look well made, must include on the shopping list as seems a better idea than a rack on the rear. I'm just having caravelle rails fitted to my van so a great solution

I had my 1st kombi 18y and it had LED's so never experienced the standard lights till last night. Now I know and understand what all the fuss is all about

rails are awesome.Table has kept the kids amused for 2 days now....

Really looking forward to being able to sit in the back as and when, I think the kids will also love the back too. Table is on the list and thinking that a bed type seat will also be an option down the line with the rail system being in place
