Don't think it can be fitted to the rails it's fitted with same brackets that are used when fitting to van with pop top.
I did not want one of those rails fitted, happy with how it is.

I've literally just been told the same, so if you keep roof bars on do they need to drill into the van or does they use the same fitting under the roof bars (am currently awaiting a reply from them)

Can the awning fixing brackets fit anywhere along the awning? Or is there set places where they have to go?
That’s ok then, as I will need to have the rear bracket in front of the scissor hinge, to pick up one of factory gutter fixings, Just about to order the brackets and awning, So wanted to check first. Cheers
