Ex AA Van Electrics

Hello

I'm looking for some advice on where to start with removing/altering the second battery set-up on my Van. It's a 2019 T32 ex-AA van and although all the AA equipment has been stripped from the back, they have left the second battery with all the cables still connected under the front seat.

The only electrics I really wanted to add to the van is a small winch which I'm planning to fit behind the front seats and I'll need to connect this to a battery. I'm not electrically-minded at all and have no idea what can be reused from this set-up or if it is best to take out and start from scratch?

Thanks, I had a look through the ex-AA van posts first and couldn't see any similar battery set ups. I'll try posting to the main AA thread.

Thought I'd document my attempted self build of an ex AA van
Purchase Price £14,000
Target total spend £24,000

Delivery day



First up was to remove all the ply lining and the bulkhead





Obscene amount of screws/clips/bolts



Once all that was removed, it was time to tackle the wiring. Passenger bench removed to access all the wiring and removed the battery. The first big achievement was starting the engine after all this and getting no warning lights



My current job is removing the bulkhead support...
