Evo Motion Design cabinet handle failures

Over the last 8 years I’ve had a number of opener failures due to the poor fragile design. Each time I open a drawer or cabinet I’m expecting another handle to fail.
Has anyone else experienced the same issue? See pic
Instead of buying more replacements, I’m going to mod the existing ones to ensure they’re more robust.

I've been using this type of catch for a number of years now and really like them. No failures yet though. Fingers crossed.

Have them in our conversion - self closing drawers, so quite an amount of force needed to overcome the self closing mechanism as well as open the drawer. So one failure already, and in exactly the same place as your picture.
