Hi Everyone.
Just bought a 2018 T32 Kombi and hoping to get delivery before the end of the month. Really looking forward to creating new adventures. Always been a Landie Fan (still have a RR, D2 and 90 V8 CSW. Hoping to benefit from the great knowledge here and also contributing.
One question - the Van sounds like a belt is slipping. Only seems to be when the engine is cold. The vendor says its common and has already checked the forums. The cambelt and water pump have been done. Any thoughts?

I will upload some pictures when I take delivery.

Phil.

Check your aux belt and tensioner. The tensioner can be misaligned and allow the belt to slip on the alternator.

Easy fix putting a new tensioner and belt on.

Hi Spaghetti,
Thanks for the info and such a prompt response. That's put my mind at rest.
Is there a thread/resource on here that includes an engine diagram?
Thanks again,

Phil.

Worth looking at the belt alignment on the idler pulley. My belt was running slightly off the side of the pulley.

There is a guide and diagram here, but you need VIP access to view. Well worth the £12.99 a year IMO.
