Emissions Light

Hi Everyone,
On a long journey coming back up the road from Wales, my emissions light came on, the van drove perfectly well the rest of the journey, then a couple of days later it went off again, should I have this checked out, TIA

If you are referring to the DPF its not that uncommon, short trips around town or keeping fuel level low will stop the van from doing a dpf regen and cause the light to come on, fuelling up and taking it for a run will let it do a regen and get the light off (assuming we are talking about the same light)

It's the light that looks like a little engine with a fan in front of it, does the t6 regen while being driven as well as when you shut the ignition off ?
