i came over a humped back bridge yesterday a bit quick only to see standing traffic !
the velle reacted quicker than i could reach the pedal and we stopped
i was gobsmacked all Good

That's good to know! I haven't had to rely on mine yet, but I feel like I want a friend to stand in the road and I'll drive at him just to give it a go.

I took my van back as I was convinced it was not working .
But it is ,had a small symbol at bottom of mfd showing I was too close .

Had this on our Volvo bit of a pain trying to park up against low hanging leaves on bushes as it thinks it's an obstruction and slams on the brakes....good fun to put a cardboard box in the road and drive at it though

That's front assist at motorway speeds City system only works below 25ish.

How do you tell if you have these? I can't see the usual square sensor on the front bumper? it's a highline panel van, cheers

You would have the square radar unit in the lower grille if you had it.
