Electric Van - which manufacturer?

In the process of buying an electric van as a daily run about for Dogs and work.

I know that VW are merging with ford with the electric models soon but the electric caddy has already been canned for a while and the Transporter only has a top range of 80 miles!

that is a utter crap range where the vans similar size like the vivario has a range of 210 miles

Why are VW so behind?

Deciding now with the Vauxhall combo e or Peugeot partner e?

Any preferences with Vauxhall over Peugeot, as they are basically the exact same van?

Probably not much help but here goes. I was at a VW van centre recently and got speaking to a mechanic who'd previously worked for Toyota. He agreed that the electric VW van top range was rubbish. He'd worked on Toyota taxis in Blackpool and reckoned that the range was really good and that the electric vehicles were trouble free with the batteries lasting for years.
