EGR error codes - what’s my best option

It’s done 60k miles. Remapped to 150.
66 plate.

I’m a noob when it comes to engine stuff so not sure what to do with this.

I’ve owned the Van since March and it’s now out of the warranty I got from the used dealer I bought it from.

What is my easiest and best course of action?

Carry on driving, the faults haven’t shown after resetting.
Get yourself a Carista from Amazon and avoid the VW diagnostic fee.

They have cleared the codes and run a 5 mile test drive.

Keep driving and see if the light comes back on.

Getting you own scanner will help.

All EGR systems will eventually fail as the valve and cooler are fouled by soot. To be expected, at the moment your faults are reset and your van is ready to go.
I apply ‘If you can’t change the situation don't worry about it’.
