Ecoflow alternator charger wire route

Hi, i'm trying to install an Ecoflow alternator charger in my T6. The problem is routing the large cable through the fire wall grommets.

The cable is too large.

Has anyone done this successfully? Is there a larger grommet through the firewall?

Thanks!!

Too large to go through this gromet?:

I've done it. Ill take a photo in an hour. Its tight but did go through the grommet i used.

just drop out the BLACK Neg cable.

use a chassis point near the charger.

just run the RED POS to the starter battery.

I've found the larger grommet by removing the plate connected to the scuttle bay.
Problem now is the grommet won't stay in place.
It's a bit worn, maybe a new grommet will do it but haven't got one.
Superglue, gaffa?

The grommet is in place.
Is it ok to attach the earth cable straight to this point on the chassis

Just realised i can't route the cable through this grommet because the plate has to go back.
Back to square one. How to get the cable of 23mm through the firewall behind the battery.
The grommets are too small.

So i've just about routed the cable through one of the two small grommets that come out behind the battery. Tighter than the ducks verbatim. Be it with a bit of the protective sheaf coming off. Not sure if the grommet will go back in place properly so relying on protective sheaf round the cable.
What a mare!
Any thoughts?

The red cable is too short to feed through the firewall by itself and then to attach the fuse.
I've managed to feed the cable through one of the small grommets, top of passenger wheel, to behind battery. Hope the grommet holds.

The cable is 23mm thick. I've managed to get it through one of the smaller grommets behind the battery. Very tight, hope grommet is in place ok.
23mm diameter? Is that including insulation?
What’s the wire rated in mm2 or AWG?
What current are you expecting it to carry?

I'll measure again tmrw. 23mm was both wires with the insulation.
Not sure on the rated mm2 can check tmrw.
Current is a max of around 66amps i think as alternator charger max is 800w.
Someone said to just route the red +ve through to the engine bay and drop the black and connect to the chassis somewhere in the cab.

This would mean separating the wires and cutting the black short perhaps, before attaching it to an earthing point in the cab maybe?!
I'm considering this as the wires through the grommet is very tight.

How did you get on in the end, I am about to do the same but I already have cables in the passenger side grommet
