Hi all. Just had my T6 204hp remapped (DPF/EGR/AdBlue deleted). It’s got 34k miles and has a fresh DSG service, but I’m getting a bad shudder/judder in 3rd gear in Drive mode at around 1,100 RPM. It was doing it slightly on the stock map too, but the remap has made it much more noticeable. Has anyone dealt with this?

If you already had a judder in 3rd gear then you had a problem as that’s not normal. Remapping the DSG on top of an existing problem would have unpredictable results. My advice would be to remove the map and diagnose and fix the original problem.

Search for issues with the 204hp engines in particular too, because they are subject to a whole load of specific issues.

I'd check with whoever serviced the DSG that the clutch values were adjusted/reset - haven't had mine done yet but from what I understand this needs to be done when changing the oil so that the ECU re-learns the clutch biting points for the viscosity of the new oil. Presumably there was no judder before the service?

The learnt adaptions aren't reset as part of a DSG service. This would be an 'extra' to the actual service interval.

Double check you don't get the judder in 1st,5th or 7th.
If it was there before might be worth doing the clutch adaptations again just to rule out one of the clutches on its way out.
And if you are using VCDS get an idea of the values to check it is still in spec.
I had a mechatronic overpressure fault on a caddy that caused a clutch to go bye bye.

After you delete all this is still consuming oil?

No it was not using oil. I did deletes because I only do short journeys. Got sorted via different mapper. He did live data recording. Smoke limiters or limitations was problem after dpf was deleted especially at low rpm under 1500. Driving a treat now thankfully
