DSG Judder

Good evening folks.

Today in trafic I noticed a judder when creeping in 1st gear in my T6 DSG. Itd done 60k and DSG serviced 12k ago. What could this potentially be? I must admit I can can hear the DMF rattle when cold sometimes. The van does tow my caravan a fair bit too. Hopefully not looking at a clutch pack also?

Did you ever get to the bottom of this @Pau1GTI ? I have a similar issue and the mechanic things it’s the dual mass flywheel.

Mine doing exactly the same as you've described. There's over 120000 miles on mine. I hear both the rattle like a bag of nails and judder in low gears that you've described. Also reversing uphill is very sluggish. The rattle is not always there at startup when cold and it goes away after running for about 10 minutes but I'll feel a rumble then when stopped at traffic lights. Flywheel is getting replaced this week on it so hopefully that is the solution.

Mine wasn’t the flywheel in the end, it was the crankshaft sensor. We had it replaced and it’s fixed the issue. It could well be the flywheel on yours though, I only got the judder at certain points during acceleration.
