DSG button

My DSG side button seems to not pop back home when selecting reverse . Gear goes in fine it just takes a tiny pull of the level to get the button to sit home fully . Any ideas?

hmm. . . any grim got stuck in there?

tried any cleaner in there yet?

switch cleaner?, spray silicone? dare i suggest WD40? - dont know as not done it before.

I'd check for dirt and debris first it's unusual for them to play up to be fair

Did you ever get a fix to this?

Mine’s been doing it a lot and this morning just absolutely doesn’t want to budge to come back out to Home.

I’m away to find a trim removal tool or something to give it a wiggle.
