Drivers window control module

Anyone know if you can reprogram a drivers door window control module ? Every time I try a close it gets to the top and goes half way down. Checked no obstruction lubes the window guide areas tried all the holding buttons etc same on the key fob am at a lose to get it working properly passenger side is fine. Anyone any other ideas please ?

Does the auto close/open work - do they close/open with one click of the button or do you need to hold the button?
Have you calibrated the windows open/close positions?

Has anyone had the scenario where doing this reset fails to work?
On the passenger window, holding the down button depressed caused the windrow to drop a couple of inches then stop. You have to release and then depress the down button again to get the window all the way down. This obviously stops the ability to do the reset.
Not my van, a friend’s T6. Has us baffled.

It doesn’t stop the reset process, just get the window fully open then press and hold button for a couple seconds, then get the window fully closed and again press and hold the button for a few seconds

Thanks for reply yup tried those tried down release hold down, up holding button goes up half way down. And all variations I can think of. Doesn’t matter if it the slightly long up selection then release goes all the way up then half down, if you do lots of small clicks till it closes you go one too far then it goes half down again. Very frustrating !

Looks like a trip to the dealers then as I’m out of ideas now

I have exactly the same problem with my 2 yr old T6. Sometimes it works fine and other times the fault occurs

What happens if you put your key in the driver's door key barrel, rotate clockwise & hold and then anticlockwise & hold?

Hi Spanners.. How did you get your window fixed in the long run? ( hoping you have ) . Mine is doing the exact same.. winters coming and its bloody annoying. tried cleaning all the seals with soapy ear buds and it just doesn't want to go. Simon
